The First Blade
Chrome bamboo erupting through a cracked concrete slab.
They poured the slab to bury me.
I came up through it, green, sharpened to chrome.
The first blade is not a weapon. It is a sprout.
Concrete can't kill a weed.
The opening statement. Every gospel starts with something breaking through. This is the exact second the concrete decides it cannot hold. Not after the crack is there; at the moment of impact.
